Creative Writing Camp is always a delight. Coming up with writing prompts for young children exercises my own creativity, but it is also a marvel to watch these seven-, eight-, and nine-year-olds turn into writers. We mixed mediums like music and at, we taught concepts, we inspired. In turn, they inspired us to be our best writers, teachers, and mentors. LaRae was a great partner to me and we complemented each other well. She brought in fresh, inventive ideas as well as some process-oriented strategies from the classroom.
